"After some terrible train trouble in Italy, we got here after check in was closed. I called ahead of closing and the staff were so lovely, helpful and understanding about our situation and figured out a solution for us. Pool and sauna is open 24/7 and the can also book massages at the desk on check in."

"Very much a vintage hotel experience. I had an excellent mountain view, which I was able to enjoy from bed every morning. The cleaning crew were efficient and very good. The staff was very helpful with planning alternative hikes. I chose to walk the 800m from the train station, which for me was very doable. However, I am very fit and this may not be an option for everyone. The breakfast buffet was very good. I also had dinner at the hotel restaurant, Nico's, which was excellent. It was my best...

"Go for the mountain view; if the weather is not cloudy the scenery would be incomparable and inexpressible. The staffs were so kind and willing to help us in every way. Also enjoyed whirlpool, spa, sauna and swimming pool. Deeply satisfied with the hotel - will give 11 out of 10 and recommend you to stay here if you were to stay in Grindelwald. "
